Lenswood is a small rural village and tourism centre located in the Adelaide Hills east of Adelaide, Southern Australia. The major industries in the district are apples and wine grapes with several Adelaide Hills wineries having major vineyards in the area. Lenswood's central location in the heart of the Adelaide Hills orchard area led to a large cold storage facility being established there in 1933 called the Lenswood Coldstore Cooperative. The facility now has storage for a huge quantity of fruit. The township of Lenswood is surrounded by rolling hills covered with vineyards and lush orchards. You can stay in this quiet and friendly town in the variety of accommodation available to use as a base for touring the region`s cellar doors and fresh food outlets in the area.
