Long Jetty is a holiday and recreational spot and residential suburb on the delightful Central Coast region in New South Wales, Australia. It is located on small peninsula of land, south of The Entrance, ideally positioned between the Pacific Ocean and Tuggerah Lake. Long Jetty is very well named as it boasts three very long jetties extending out into the shallow estuarine waters of Tuggerah Lake. The jetties provide a wonderful spot for fishing and crabbing and provide wonderful views at dawn and sunset with fabulous reflections on the calm lake surface. is ideal for jogging, walking and family bike riding. The foreshore boasts several playgrounds and there are excellent picnic and BBQ areas and well maintained mown grass areas for recreation and sports. Paddle Boats and fishing boats are available for hire and there are excellent boat ramps for launching your own boat or sailing craft. There is lots of entertainment and amusement options for the whole family in Gosford, Wyong and Terrigal.
