Tim Sweeny’s The Last Jar, 616 Elizabeth St Melbourne is holding its Oyster Festival on May 24th, from 2-7pm, inspired by The Galway version. It showcases the best of Australian oysters, Guinness and a shucking competition between some of Melbourne’s top chefs. Music provided by The Drunken Poachers, Dan Bourke and Paul Quinnrish. Free Entry, $2 an oyster, $6 a pint.
